However, Baffinland Iron Mines' Mary River iron ore project still needs to find C$4.1 billion (US$3.83bn) in financing to start production by a new target date of 2016. Shed explosion sparks Perth Hills bushfire

A man has been seriously injured and authorities rushed to contain a bushfire after a series of explosions in the Perth Hills. Police said the explosions occurred at a property near Great Eastern Highway, Hovea, 40 kilometers east of Perth, Australia. The blasts appeared to have been triggered by a single explosion in a shed on the property, believed to have been used as a storage shed for a demolition agent used by farmers, a police spokesman said.  More

Dogs sniff out trouble in Vancouver
